I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, the room was clean and cozy, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and the convenient location near local attractions. I can't wait to come back and stay again!

The location of the hotel and its views overlooking the Grand Mosque (Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque) is what makes this hotel unique. Magnificent rooms with breathtaking views of the creek and the mosque. Cleanliness is unbelievable, with a beautiful Arabian scent throughout the hotel, rooms, corridors, and lobbies. Customer service is impeccable from the moment we arrived until we departed. The reception is responsive, valet parking, concierge, and royal butler services are exceptional. The beds are super comfortable. Large, beautiful bathrooms with strong water pressure and luxurious shampoo. The food is out of this world. We opted for Gold lounge access for a premium fee, and we believe it's worth it. The quality of food and service is excellent. We have been coming to this hotel for over 13 years since it opened. We took a break over the last seven years and returned to be extremely pleased with the improved quality of accommodation. We were particularly pleased to see Mariamu promoted from a waitress in the Gold Lounge to a well-deserved Front Desk manager. She's a beautiful person who has always looked after us during our stays at the Fairmont. It's gratifying to see hardworking staff at the hotel recognized with promotions. she immediately recognised us as loyal guests and went out of her way to make us feel special and comfortable at the hotel. I would like to thank Quasi and Hassan, whose reception at check-in was wonderful, followed by recognition of our Accor Status and years of loyalty to the hotel, resulting in a wonderful room upgrade that we truly enjoyed. I would also like to recognize Paolo, Mark, Phoo, and Rony from the Gold Lounge, who were extremely professional and attentive at all times. They never failed us with anything. Thanks to the royal services team who organized bookings for us inside and outside the hotel and truly went out of their way to make us extremely happy. Special thanks to Mahesh from the pool area and his wonderful staff who were extremely pleasant and helpful, including lifeguards and wait staff. The pool and the beach are excellent. The amount of work the hotel teams did to clean up the recreational area after the storms/floods was outstanding. I'm sure if we were in any other country around the world, it would have taken weeks to clean up. Fairmont Bab Al Bahr took only one day to have everything operational and clean. We arrived on the day of the storm and left after 8 days. We did not feel that we wasted an hour as the whole stay was amazing. I would like to thank the valet and bell teams, always ready to help. They never cared about tips or anything of that sort. They were dedicated to service day in and day out. Wonderful and humble people. It definitely reaffirms the Arabian hospitality. This beautiful hotel is a reflection of great management. I would like congratulate the management and stress the importance of continuing to improve on your services. Regards, Shehabi

The staff are the backbone of this hotel and were absolutely incredible for the duration of our stay! Everyon went above and beyond at any given opportunity, to ensure both myself, my husband and our two children were made to feel welcome. Travelling with two young children can be a very stressful experience, but at this hotel we were made to feel so welcome, it was a pleasure to be there! Special thanks go to Midhan at the Pool, the Lead Lifeguard (apologies I didn’t catch his name) and Reem at Guest Relations. The three individuals above truly went above and beyond and are an absolute credit to Fairmont! We are already planning our return trip in September, and cannot wait! Thank you so much again

Fabulous hotel, staff and food...A great room overlooking the Mosque with a large comfortable bed, free safe, great coffee pod machine, hair dryer and iron. And complimentary water each day. Amazing shower and bath. Fabulous smelling body lotion too. Housekeeping were great... I requested more hangers and more coffee pods during my stay and they appeared within ten minutes. Also had problems with my bedside reading light which was fixed immediately...Great service!.... All staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. All Restaurants were amazing. The Evening Buffet was so good! How hard the Chef's must work! Albeit the wooden floor was a little bouncy so had to choose the right place to sit without being uncomfortable! One tiny complaint, when the Buffet was moved to the breakfast area one evening as there were a few events happening over the hotel, the impeccable service slipped a bit! At one point I had to clear our own table and refresh our cutlery as staff were so busy and obviously stretched! Not good when you are a paying guest! Outside events should not come first! Did not spoil our stay, will visit again and highly recommend....Thank you to all....

We are on our last night here after staying for a week. It’s a lovely property with large and comfortable rooms overlooking a stunning creek with views of the grand mosque. There are some negatives however, the sea has been closed due to pollution for our entire stay and all boat trips cancelled as nobody is allowed in the sea! This has impacted us as we came here particularly for the lovely beach and sea! We were also disappointed at the buffet. It isn’t one of the grand lavish buffets that we have heard about in Abu Dhabi and so after our first night, we decided to give the transport cafe vibe and screaming kids a miss and have dinners in the lovely restaurants instead (we tried them all and they are all amazing). There are also not enough staff to clear tables in the morning at breakfast and people are having to sit in other restaurants as there are no tables clean. Now it’s the weekend and noticeably busier by the beach and pool as the hotel sells day passes. They ran out of loungers yesterday (Friday) afternoon, so something to be aware of. On the positive side, the staff are very helpful, especially the guys at the poolside bar and the concierge.
